Continuing the Another series (Another 1-2), we now have Another S/0. In my personal opinion, the horror elements in this installment are not as vividly depicted. The story revolves around a wandering ghost haunting a mansion, tirelessly searching for its missing body. This special volume takes us on a thrilling journey as the young ghost and Misaki Mei team up to solve the mystery.
- Strengths: Still retains Yukito Ayatsuji’s signature unpredictable plot twists. Honestly, by the last few pages, I was completely shocked and finally understood why people say you can never predict the ending.
- Weaknesses: The story focuses heavily on the ghost’s search for its body and character psychology, making about two-thirds of the book feel a bit slow. But trust me—when you reach the final pages, the shock is absolutely unreal!
